UKAA launches best practice guide for BTR industry

The UK Apartment Association (UKAA) has released its best practice guide for the UK BTR sector.

The guide, which was created by and for UKAA members, collates knowledge from a diverse set of individuals and organisations in the BTR industry.

It comprises over 80 articles on topics ranging from design and funding through development and construction to mobilisation and operation, with each article offering an in-depth look at its subject area, as well as practical and actionable insights.

According to the UKAA, the guide aims to support the UK BTR community and encourage the pursuit of excellence by sharing knowledge and de-risking the industry for investors, developers, operators and suppliers.

Brendan Geraghty, CEO at UKAA, said: “We are incredibly grateful to all those who have contributed to making the guide such a comprehensive resource for the UK BTR industry.

“As the industry evolves and pursues excellence in every area, the guide will act as a resource that can be applied to every element of our collective work.

“The compendium will serve the entire sector for years to come and act as a stepping stone to delivering a future code of practice for BTR."
