Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) has appointed Alan Longhorn (pictured above) as transformation director for customer acquisition.
In his new role, Alan will be looking at all channels of customer acquisition — whether in-market or pre-market — and managing key partner relations.
According to MAB: “His role will transform the ways we acquire new customers and optimise our data, and this will form a key part of his wider responsibilities.”
Reporting to chief operating officer Yaiza Luengo, Alan will join MAB in January.
He has nearly two decades of experience in the industry and recently stepped down as head of sales, marketing and distribution for mortgage services at the Bank of Ireland.
Prior to the Bank of Ireland he spent seven years at RBS, holding various positions including regional director, area director and brand engagement manager.
“Alan has had a fantastic record of achievement from the very outset of his career, and is incredibly driven and entrepreneurial, making him a fantastic fit for the business,” said Peter Brodnicki, CEO at MAB.
“There has never been a more exciting time to join MAB, and we're looking forward to working with Alan and supporting him with the huge opportunity he has within customer acquisition.”
Alan added: "I’m excited to join MAB as it continues to pivot its business model to reflect changing consumer behaviour and new customer acquisition opportunities.
“I look forward to supporting Peter and the team in finding new, innovative ways to drive lead flows, broaden MAB’s reach, and improve conversion and productivity.”
