Norton Finance has partnered with Afin Bank, with the former confirmed as launch partner for the newly-launched digital bank.
Afin Bank received regulatory approval earlier this week and targets borrowers from the African diaspora and other foreign nationals.
Norton Finance will work closely with Afin bank to distribute its mortgage products to advisers across the UK.
Paul Stringer, CEO at Norton Finance (pictured above), said it was important to work with Afin Bank given its focus on people who are sometimes overlooked by traditional lenders.
“At Norton, we see these cases every day,” said Paul.
“Clients with good affordability who just need a lender to look beyond the surface.
“Afin Bank is doing just that, and we’re pleased to support its launch phase with our distribution and broking expertise.”
James Briggs, intermediary sales director at Afin Bank, added: “With Norton’s insight and distribution network, we’ll be able to reach the advisers and clients who will benefit most from a lender that looks at the full picture and not just a credit score.”
