Harworth has secured a tenant for its 73,000 sq ft industrial and logistics site in Rotherham.
Insight has agreed a 15-year lease for the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in South Yorkshire, which reached practical completion earlier this year.
This site will serve as a major European solutions integration centre for tech company Insight.
Over 200,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space has now been completed this year by Harworth on the AMP site. This already hosts businesses such as Boeing and Rolls Royce, as well as the UK Atomic Energy Authority and McLaren Automotive Composites Technology Centre.
Construction of a new 80,000 sq ft headquarter for Technicut, a specialist tool manufacturer, is currently in progress on the site.
This is all part of Harworth’s group strategy to grow its investment portfolio to £900m by the end of 2029, transitioning its core investment portfolio to 100% Grade A by the end of 2027.
Commenting on the latest lease, Jonathan Haigh - CIO at Harworth - said Insight’s decision reflected the quality of the space being leased.
“The AMP has established itself as an international centre of excellence for advanced manufacturing with its designation as part of the UK Government’s first Investment Zone, and we are proud to have played a role in its creation,” added Jonathan.
“We continue to focus on delivering high quality Industrial & Logistics schemes across the Midlands and the North of England in undersupplied markets where we are seeing strong demand from a wide range of businesses.”
