Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has selected Greg Barnard as its head of broker support within its specialist mortgages division.
Greg takes up the newly created role having spent five years in the underwriting team at the bank, with two years as a senior underwriter.
In his new position, Greg will take on day-to-day management of the lending managers and ensure that quality and speed of service remain at the heart of HTB’s proposition.
In addition, he will be the primary point of escalation for brokers with regard to new business queries or issues, and the sales team’s first point of contact when assessing new deals.
"I am honoured to be given this opportunity to represent the bank in this new role,” said Greg.
“Managing our lending managers, supporting the sales team with assessing new deals, and having the ability to be the primary point of escalation means a truly connected overview of the brokers’ journey through each deal, and will bring a positive impact to the relationships we value.
“I cannot wait to start working with our broker partners and our sales team to help grow and drive the business forward.”
Andrea Glasgow, sales director for specialist mortgages at HTB, added: “Greg will play, and already has done in his time here, a pivotal role in our success, underlining HTB's unwavering commitment to championing landlords and property investors with their specialist property finance requirements.”
