Paragon Bank names new mortgages director

Paragon Bank has appointed Simon Cockerill (pictured above) as commercial director of mortgages to help develop its BTL proposition as well as supporting brokers and landlords across a broad range of requirements.

Simon joins Paragon with 28 years' experience across mortgage sales and distribution. Most recently, he spent almost nine years as head of sales at OSB Group, having previously held senior roles spanning lenders, intermediaries and building societies.

Reporting to managing director of mortgages, Louisa Sedgwick, Simon will lead the continued development of Paragon's BTL mortgage sales, distribution and product functions.

Working with established teams across the business, he will support further growth in existing and developing areas of the market, helping brokers find solutions for landlord clients across an increasingly diverse range of borrowing requirements.
