Mortgage platform update streamlines BTL sourcing and compliance

Brokers can now assess entire portfolios in one place

PM Data Services has upgraded its Genie mortgage sourcing platform, now holding each landlord’s complete portfolio for the benefit of searches.

This “major” upgrade has been designed so a landlord’s entire portfolio is considered every time a mortgage is sourced.

A case can run from the landlord's portfolio to a compliant, evidenced recommendation, and on to the next remortgage, in one place.

PM Data Services has also included other features as part of this upgrade.

The system now allows for better record keeping, spreadsheet imports, remortgage reminders, built-in animated guides and product of cost summaries.

The importing of limited company and LLPs direct from Companies House now means adviser credit is recorded once against the right people, with debts not double counted.

“BTL brokers want one place for the whole case, not a different system for every stage of it,” said Angus Stewart, CEO and founder of PM Data Services.

“With this release, Genie becomes the place where the whole case lives: the landlord's portfolio, a search that explains every lender's answer, a compliance file that writes itself as you work, and the reminder that brings the client back when their deal ends.

“With more landlords buying through companies every year, sourcing those cases correctly is vital, and Genie's technology is built to handle the criteria that come with them.”
