Landbay has appointed Scott Phillips (pictured above) as a new national account manager.
Scott joins Landbay with 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, most recently as an intermediary sales manager at Saffron for Intermediaries.
He has also held roles at Moda Mortgages and Vida.
At Landbay, Scott will work with the lender’s network and mortgage club partners, supporting existing relationships and helping reach a wider range of advisers and their landlord clients.
“Scott brings a huge amount of mortgage market experience to Landbay, particularly within national accounts, and he has an excellent understanding of how lenders can work successfully with networks, clubs and their member firms,” said Rob Stanton, sales and distribution director at Landbay.
“Distribution has an important part to play in ensuring advisers understand the breadth of what we can offer and where Landbay might be able to help their clients.
“Scott’s experience and relationships across the intermediary market will be a real asset as we continue to develop our work with our network, club and distributor partners, and we are very pleased to welcome him to the team.”
Scott added: “Landbay has built a strong reputation in the specialist BTL market and, with the continued development of its product range, there is a significant opportunity to make sure more advisers understand the wider range of cases we can now support.
“I have spent much of my career working with national accounts and sales teams, so I am looking forward to using that experience to strengthen Landbay’s relationships with its partners, while helping more advisers access the excellent BTL proposition we have.”
