Landbay appoints BDM for North and Scotland

Landbay has appointed Daniel Bell (pictured above) as BDM, covering North Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland.

He joins with immediate effect and will report to sales and distribution director Rob Stanton.

Daniel will work with brokers and advisory firms across the regions, providing sales support and insight across the lender’s range of BTL products.

He joins Landbay from Newsource Commercial Finance in Harrogate, where he worked for more than 13 years, most recently as its head of broker relations.

Prior to that role, Daniel spent almost five years as a case and account manager at Newsource, managing cases across a range of property finance sectors including BTL, HMO, MUFB, refurbishment, development, semi-commercial and commercial.

“Daniel brings a considerable amount of experience to Landbay, having spent more than 13 years working across specialist property finance and building strong relationships with brokers,” said Rob.

“We want our BDMs to spend time understanding brokers, their businesses and the cases they are working on, backed by a wider team that can provide support throughout the application process, and Daniel's experience makes him a very strong fit for this approach.”

Daniel added: “Having worked both on individual cases and in broker relations, I know how important it is for advisers to have a BDM who understands their business, is available when they need support and can help them find the right solution for their landlord clients.
