CA Ventures has appointed Tim Phillips as head of residential Europe as the real estate investment company announces its entrance into the European BTR sector
Tim — who has more than 14 years of experience in the real estate industry — will be responsible for the development of BTR and PRS assets across Europe.
He joins from Lothbury Investment Management, where he was a director and led a corporate expansion into the residential sector.
CA Ventures is committed to initially investing £200m in BTR and PRS assets in Europe per year, with expectations to increase this to £380m by 2025.
“Tim’s appointment comes as the residential housing market across Europe continues to evolve,” said Carlo Matta, head of Europe at CA Ventures (pictured above).
“We are seeing a shift from ownership to renting and we expect this trend to continue over the coming years, especially as there is growing demand for more flexible living arrangements.”
