NRLA unveils upgraded landlord qualifications

The National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) has unveiled an upgraded Level 3 qualification for landlords and letting agents.

Launched ahead of the Renters Rights Act implementation, the ‘Managing Property and Residential Lettings’ course allows for successful passers to apply for the use of post-nominal letters (MNRLA) after their names.

For those pursuing NRLA accreditation, the certificate will provide 12 CPD points.

The new qualification aims to prepare property professionals for the impact of the Renters Rights Act and serve as a demonstrable sign of professionalism to renters.

“This new qualification will equip all manner of property professionals with the tools to excel and provide a first-class experience for renters,” said Ben Beadle, CEO at the NRLA.

“With radical reforms a matter of weeks away, this qualification is for those who want to thrive and not just survive the Renters’ Rights Act.”
