Fleet Mortgages has made a double promotion, appointing two BDMs to newly-created regional sales manager roles.
Chris Barwick and Katy Williams have been promoted, with both reporting to chief commercial officer Steve Cox.
They will also retain their senior business development manager positions.
Chris will continue to cover the North East, while Katy will continue to cover the Midlands.
Chris brings extensive experience in mortgage lending, having previously worked as both an adviser and an underwriter with a lending mandate.
He has also held a number of management roles during his career.
In his new role, Chris will combine his ongoing work with brokers in his region with responsibility for supporting the development and performance of the wider field BDM team.
Katy has worked in financial services since 2011, building experience across mortgages, commercial finance and bridging loans both as a broker and within a packager.
Since joining Fleet in 2019, she has developed an in-depth knowledge of specialist BTL lending.
“Chris and Katy are both highly-valued members of our sales team and these promotions recognise the contribution they have already made to the business, as well as the qualities they bring as leaders,” said Steve.
“Both have strong relationships with our intermediary partners, a deep understanding of the specialist BTL market and the experience to help support and develop colleagues across the wider field team.
