Butterfield Mortgages has made a double hire, appointing Kiefer Rendall (pictured above, right) as the lender’s new client relationship officer while Ruby Bastick (pictured above, left) joins as a front of house intern.
Kiefer began his career in financial services at HSBC in 2017, starting as a temporary agent for the small business banking team in Leicester.
In 2018, he became a permanent member of staff as a business banking risk analyst, where he was responsible for mitigating financial crime risk, processing applications and fulfilling due diligence requirements.
In his new role, he will be supporting the front office with client administration and onboarding processes.
Meanwhile, Ruby joins as part of Butterfield Mortgages’ apprenticeship scheme with Simply Academy. She will be working towards her CeMAP qualification while supporting client service and her colleagues.
