Chetwood appoints Royal Bank of Canada vet to board

Chetwood Bank has appointed Rob Pomphrett (pictured above), who spent nearly 20 years at the Royal Bank of Canada, to its board.


Rob joins as non-executive director and brings over three decades of experience in banking and financial markets to the role.

At the Royal Bank of Canada, he held a number of positions such as global head of treasury services, head of principal finance and head of global markets financial resource management.

He now serves as treasurer and board member for both the Campaign to Protect Rural England and Possible, an environmental charity.

“His deep knowledge of international financial markets will prove invaluable as we embark on our next phase in the evolution of Chetwood Bank.”
