MT Finance has appointed Raheel Butt (pictured above), as head of underwriting.
Raheel brings over 37 years of experience to the role and was most recently head of underwriting at LendInvest for two years.
In addition to being an underwriting manager at Shawbrook Bank for six years he has held key positions at groups such as NatWest Bank and Lloyds Bank.
"We have been working tirelessly to build a seamless customer journey for our clients, from new processes to new platforms, new products and updated lending criteria – everything points towards the strengthening of our BTL division,” said Marylen Edwards, who was recently appointed to MT Finance’s board as director of mortgages.
“We are excited to welcome Raheel to the team and look forward to how he will leverage his wealth of experience to serve our clients even better and help deliver on our ambitious growth plans."
