Guernsey-based investment management firm RAW Capital Partners has introduced a new, lower fixed-rate BTL product, as it looks to boost lending to foreign nationals and UK expats looking to purchase UK BTL properties.
The new introductory fixed-rate option offers loans between £50,000 and £4m for a single property — and up to £8.5m to a single borrower — at up to 65% LTV, priced at 6.99%.
Currently, the lender has more than £100m available to lend to borrowers looking to buy UK BTLs, and is looking to grow its RAW Mortgage Fund from £175m to £1bn in the coming years.
Ben Nichols, interim managing director at RAW Capital Partners (pictured above), said: “The RAW Mortgage Fund continues to grow; this puts us in a strong position to better serve borrowers based outside of the UK as we look to deploy BTL mortgages at pace and to a wider range of clients.
“Our specialism in working with brokers that have international clients — a group that often struggles to find support from other BTL lenders — certainly sets us apart.
“Combined with that expertise, the availability of £100 million in capital and a willingness to lend, we’re confident that the RAW Mortgage Fund will continue to gain traction in the months to come.”
