Hans Geberbauer and Dominic Maher leave Foundation Home Loans

Foundation Home Loans has confirmed that its chief executive officer Hans Geberbauer and chief operating officer Dominic Maher have officially departed the business on 24th April.

The two announced its intentions to retire in December 2023, after almost 10 years of holding these roles at Foundation Home Loans.

In the same statement released in December last year, the lender announced that Pete Ball — currently Together’s CEO of personal finance — would take over from Hans as CEO of Foundation Home Loans.

He is expected to take up his new role in Q2 2024 — the official date has not been confirmed.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Paula Priest, national sales manager at Foundation Home Loans, thanked both Hans and Dominic for their work during their tenure.

“[You] really cared about our proposition, our people and made us what we are; I hope you both go on to have amazing lives. From me personally, and I know from our staff, thank you — be happy and live your dreams,” she added.

Update 26th April 2024, 5pm: Foundation Home Loans has confirmed Pete will take up the role of CEO in May.
